一個別開生面的學校巡迴介紹：音樂劇場《時間之國》
A Fresh New School Tour Presentation: A Musical Theatre King of Time
每年9月至10月，香港藝術節青少年之友會到學校作巡迴介紹，讓學生對表演藝術、香港藝術節節目和本計劃有更深入的了解，從而啟發他們對表演藝術的興趣。今年的學校巡迴介紹共分舞台演出及錄像放映兩部份，將於9月19 日至11月5日演出40場。
舞台演出部份約40分鐘，我們邀請了全劇場製作音樂劇場《時間之國》（以英語輔以粵語演出），故事講述時間之國的王子，性格十分反叛，由於無法接受父王的離去，以為逃避可以解決問題，結果跌進了一個黑暗世界；最後在僕人十二的引領之下，學習面對恐懼，走出黑暗世界，展開人生新的一頁。此劇揉合多種表演元素，包括手製面具、皮影剪紙、現場音樂及舞蹈等，讓觀眾認識不同表演藝術的形式及特色。
錄像放映部份約10分鐘，將會率先介紹2008香港藝術節節目，學生成為青少年之友會員可免費欣賞其中兩場節目；另外亦會播放青少年之友活動片段，讓學生了解計劃內容。
Every September and October we go to different schools and campuses to introduce Young Friends and highlight the upcoming Festival programmes and to enhance the student's appreciation of various forms of performing arts.
In 2007, the school tour is carried out to 40 local secondary schools and tertiary institutes from 19 September to 05 November 2007. The school tour is included (i) a 40-min bilingual stage performance of mask, music and movement, and (ii) a 10-min video presentation of the Young Friends and 2008 Hong Kong Arts Festival programme highlights.
