由近年來教育工作者、公眾人物、政府官員、傳媒工作者、文化工作者所發表的言論來看，此時此地社會的各階層不但未具上述那種危機意識，還對於當前人類的處境充滿誤解與無知。以下舉出幾個最常見的錯誤，並列出事實：

(1) 污染是文明的代價

(2) 靠科技來打救

(3) 必定可以逢凶化吉

(4) 先發展後補救

(5) 越多就是越成功

(6) 危機皆因人太多

(7) 綠色思想與科學對立

這完全是TQM (total quality management) 應用在我們生活的實例 :

何謂「企業社會責任」?

企業社會責任的重要性已被各界確認，但至今仍未有一個受公認的釋義。根據公民教育委員會描述，「企業社會責任」一般指：
一間公司透過其核心業務、社會投資、慈善活動以及對市民的承諾，為廣大市民應作出的正面貢獻。要衡量這些貢獻，主要取決於企業對處理其經濟、社會及環境影響的態度；以及與不同持份者，特別是股東、員工、顧客、業務伙伴、政府、社區人士及年青人等建立良好關係的工作。

此定義只為企業提供方向，助企業訂立符合其營商環境及企業方針的社會責任意義，將理念融入營運和管理之中，以促進經濟、社會、環境的可持續發展。

普遍來說，「企業社會責任」的四大範疇包括：

1. 改善僱員及其家屬的現況

2. 企業應顧及經濟、社會及環境的可持續發展

3. 企業應以符合道德規範的方式辦事

4. 企業應對社會作出貢

內容
金融海嘯所引發的本港經濟衰退，導致各階層市民的生活受到不少衝擊，裁員、減薪、公司倒閉、生活受困、家庭衝突等時有聽聞，這對個人、家庭和社會都會造成深遠影響。要積極面對逆境，達致『困亦樂』的生活態度，我們深信『人與人』之間的關顧和支持，是一項重要元素。

因此，透過“Perfect Match” 行動，期望能招募有心人貢獻能力和時間，為各區正面對逆境的兒童和家庭，提供各類型活動和服務，促進發展人幫人之社區情懷。

Mandatory and voluntary carbon markets see significant growth in 2007

Both the mandatory and voluntary carbon markets saw significant growth in 2007, though the voluntary market experienced the biggest boost, tripling in value with even more expansion expected.
The voluntary carbon market is still a small part of all carbon buying and trading, with a value of $331 million in 2007. The two major mandatory markets - the Kyoto Protocol’s Clean Development Mechanism and European Union Emission Trading Scheme - were valued at $64 billion last year. But although the mandatory markets doubled in value, from about $31 billion, the voluntary markets more than tripled from its 2006 value of $97 million.

FSC（The Forest Stewardship Council），即森林管理評價委員會，是由世界自然基金會組織發起的一個非盈利的國際組織，其宗旨就是聯合全世界的人們一起解決因不正當採伐而造成的森林損壞，並提倡負責任的管理和開發森林，為此，FSC公布了一系列國際標準並在全球森林與木材經營組織中推進這項認證，簡稱FSC認證，該項認證在歐美等發達國家已經被企業和消費者廣泛接納，而在我國則開展不久。
FSC/COC認證即產銷監管鏈認證，是FSC認證的重要一種，是對木材貿易與加工企業從原材料採購、倉儲、生產、到銷售等環節進行鏈狀監管與確認，以確保木材來自於一個已經認證過的森林，也即來自一個優質管理及可持續開發的森林。
FSC認證是世界森林貿易網絡（GFTN）的入會門檻，由於在國外GFTN以及FSC認證已經被廣泛接納，因此獲得FSC認證以及加入GFTN被木材經營界稱為進入全球木材及地板交易圈的綠色通行證。
盡管FSC認證是非強制性的，但是隨著公眾環保意識的增強，FSC認證對於企業經營活動的影響越來越大。一些國際知名的跨國公司為了迎合消費者的環保消費心態，樹立公司的綠色形象，都已聲明要購買和銷售認證產品。如全球家居零售業巨頭--瑞典宜家家居公司 (IKEA) 對其在全球最大的原料採購基地--中國提出了 FSC 認證要求，銷售額高達 400 億美元的美國Home Depot 公司全部銷售認證產品，英國百安居公司年銷售 300 萬立方米木制品，其中認證的比例已達到了 95%。所以安信取得FSC認證也意味著安信的產品取得了進軍國際市場的"通行證"，可以享受歐盟的關稅優惠，並可能被納入發達國家的政府採購範圍。
中國森林貿易網絡是全球森林貿易網絡的組成部分。全球森林貿易網絡是十年前由世界自然基金會發起的，旨在推動負責任的森林產品採購、可持續森林經營和可信賴森林認證的同時，為林產品廠商間的健康貿易搭建平台。
現已加盟全球森林貿易網絡的廠商有四百多家，覆蓋全球亞洲、非洲、歐洲和美洲的三十多個國家和地區。

2007 年 12月2 日 , 好不容易獨自來到仁濟醫院陳楚思中學, 参加了我生平第一次義工長者探訪活動, 大會安排了事前的長者探訪技巧培訓 , 活動中以問答及小組形式進行, 有老有小 , 互問互答 , 異常輕鬆愉快 . 共同拍照後乘車至樂華南郣 , 探訪了兩位婆婆, 一晦一明, 晦者只停留在昔日的光景 , 對將來看得太灰 , 明者則為陽光及樂觀長者, 她出外的旅行次數比我還來得頻密 , 都是健康之故 . 望大家保重身體為盼 !
